Whoever did it was perfectly happy for us to take the blame for it.
Still, I've always boycotted Starbucks anyway ...
I suppose I have to admire the person who smashed that window, although it was a silly thing to do in the first place; but if they hadn't, we would never have been rounded up by the riot police and effectively imprisoned on a street for two hours - which was surprisingly fun! It also meant that the people making a dash for the Israeli Embassy up ahead could get there without being lumbered with the police. We certainly managed to keep them occupied.

(that's okay... we were doing much the same thing the other night after we were set free! Though it was amazing how tangible the sense of comradeship was amongst us protesters XD)
